Hi Arrowhead Families!
My name is Colleen DeCesare, and I am excited to be returning for my third summer at Camp Arrowhead! I graduated from La Salle University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and a specialization in Public Relations. After college, I spent some time living in Southern California before returning to Pennsylvania to pursue my dream of opening a breakfast and lunch café. I owned and operated my café for 17 wonderful years, where I built lasting relationships within the community while raising my two sons.
Over the years, I have also earned my certification as a Holistic Health Coach, taught spin classes, and developed a passion for health, wellness, and helping others grow. This past school year, I worked as a Math Interventionist and Tutor at Garrettford Elementary School, supporting students in building confidence and success in mathematics. In addition, I am a licensed Realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty, helping individuals and families navigate important life transitions and find a place to call home.
At camp, the kids know me as “Aunt Peachie,” a childhood nickname that has stuck with me through the years. I love spending time outdoors, staying active, and creating positive experiences for children. My two sons also attend Arrowhead, which makes camp even more special for our family.
One of the things I love most about Arrowhead is the positive, welcoming environment where children are encouraged to try new things, build confidence, form friendships, and create lifelong memories. It is truly a special place, and I feel fortunate to be part of it for another summer.
