Hello Inca Families! I am so excited to be a counselor at Arrowhead Day Camp for the first time. I went to Arrowhead as a camper for five years and I loved it so much, I couldn't wait to work here. I have two boys who are campers for the first time at Arrowhead because we lived way too far to come to Arrowhead before this year. I grew up in this area and went to University of Delaware, where I got my degree as an elementary teacher. My husband and I got married and moved out to the Seattle area of Washington state in 2004 and we moved back to Pennsylvania last summer so we could be closer to our families. While we lived in Washington, I taught at three different elementary schools in first through sixth grade. After I had my children I worked in a Montessori preschool. I am also a part-time childbirth educator and a birth doula. This coming year I am excited to be starting a new job teaching robotics after school with Rad Robots. In addition to all that, I love to read, play games with my boys, spend time with our dog, and do a wide variety of crafts.
