Hello Inca Families, I am so excited to be the Incas' counselor for the fourth year at Arrowhead Day Camp! I went to Arrowhead as a camper for five years and I loved it so much, I couldn't wait to work here. I have two sons both of whom are at Arrowhead: one is a camper in the Senior camp, and the other is a JC with the Warriors.
I grew up in this area and went to University of Delaware, where I got my degree as an elementary teacher. My husband and I got married and moved out to the Seattle area of Washington state in 2004. While we lived in Washington, I taught at three different elementary schools in first through sixth grade. After I had my children, I worked in a Montessori preschool. We moved back to Pennsylvania in 2022, which made me so happy because it means that we can spend our summers at Arrowhead. During the school year I teach robotics with Rad Robots and I teach Mahjong. In addition to all that, I love to read, play games (especially Mahjong!), spend time with our dog, and do a wide variety of crafts.
