Colleen DeCesare

I graduated from La Salle University in 2003 with a Bachelors in Communication and a specialization in Public Relations. I headed out west not too long after and lived in Southern California for a bit with some friends and waitressed on the beach. I moved back east to be near family and friends and to pursue my dream of opening up a breakfast & lunch cafe/coffeeshop. I did that for 17 years, and in that time, I got married and had two children. We retired our restaurant in March of 2024. I loved what I did and am grateful for the experience I gained as well as all of the wonderful people I met along the way. In that time, I also pursued advancement in the nutrition field and gained my holistic health coach certification and taught spin for many years. I am very passionate about health and wellness and love spending time outdoors.
This is my second summer at Arrowhead and I have the pleasure of being the senior counselor to the Wolves-they call me Aunt Peachie, which is my childhood nickname that my family members and close friends still use. I have two sons who also attend Arrowhead. I really appreciate Arrowhead’s positive environment and love of the outdoors. Watching the kids run around, try new things and make connections while forming relationships is special. Long live Camp Arrowhead!!
